What’s Happening?
At River Ridge we believe in creating environments for specific age groups to learn about God and take next steps in their faith.
For our middle school students we host MSM every Sunday at both the 9:45 and 11:15 service. MSM is filled with games, friends, an engaging talk, and then small groups led by some of our awesome volunteers.
For our high school students we host small groups every Sunday where they can engage with their friends and leaders about topics that are relevant to their lives as teenagers. Our leaders are trained in how to teach kids about life while maintaining the truth of scripture, and the grace of Jesus.
Along with our weekly environments our leaders show up throughout the week at sporting events, band competitions, on social media, and our amazing large group events. To see a schedule of upcoming events click the link below.
Meet Our Staff
Dylan Frercks - Director of Student Ministry
Dylan started at River Ridge in 2017 as the Director of Student Ministries. He oversees both Middle School and High School ministries. Dylan grew up in the Elkview and attended Capital High School. He graduated from Liberty University with a BS in Religion and minors in biblical studies and Christian counseling. In Dylan’s spare time, he can be found drinking fancy coffee, listening to podcasts, cooking with his wife Elizabeth, and spending time with friends and family. Click To Text Dylan.
Baylee Beaver - MSM Coordinator
Baylee started attending River Ridge in 2017. She graduated from Herbert Hoover High School in 2019 and is currently a pharmacy student at the University of Charleston. Baylee joined the River Ridge staff as our middle school coordinator in April 2021. When she isn’t hanging out with students or studying Baylee spends the majority of her free time with her friends, drinking coffee, and reading! Click to Text Baylee.
